Organizational Context

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for regulating shipping. The Internal Oversight and Ethics Office provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization's operations.

Job Purpose

To provide expert consulting services to support the Internal Oversight and Ethics Office in its mandate.

Responsibilities

Conduct reviews and assessments; Provide expert advice and recommendations; Support the development and implementation of internal control frameworks; Assist in investigations and audits as required; Prepare reports and documentation.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in auditing, internal control, risk management, or a related field. Experience in a consulting capacity is desirable.
